Application Ryan,
Brock, and Greg of Among the Thirsty are in
the process of an in depth study of the book of Daniel. They
are learning
how to apply
the life experiences of Daniel, and who we commonly refer
to as Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, so as to be all that
God has called
them to
be. Through the lessons in the book of Daniel, they are
learning the importance
of integrity, teamwork, honoring authority (God’s and man’s),
and how to avoid the pitfalls and strongholds that our
enemy can set up for us and that we can sometimes set up
for ourselves.
They are
learning
that only a true relationship with God, through Jesus Christ,
is the testimony that will speak when they are silent and
move when they are
still. They
are also learning that because they are real and not ministering
through a façade, that the testimony of their actual relationship
with God will be evident, even if they attempt to portray
something else. These
lessons are applicable to each of our lives, and often
come as one man recently called, “devo providential”,
which interpreted means, “a
word in due season”. |
